TEKKAlogue is a weblog supplement to TEKKA, a subscription-based Web magazine about enjoying new media and software aesthetics.
While TEKKA offers its readers in-depth articles on art and technology, TEKKAlogue offers tidbits of fresh and interesting news on hypertext, new media, art and technology.
TEKKAlogue is itself an experiment with the weblog as narrative form. Embedded in this blog is an evolving story, composed by contributing characters. TEKKAlogue seeks to create a conversation, a critical community.
The characters of TEKKAlogue are fictions, and any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, is entirely coincidental. On occasion, the characters may visit real locations or discuss widely-known individuals and works of art, but their attendance at actual events or reports of actual conversations are imaginary. Needless to say, the opinions of these characters do not necessarily reflect the opinions of TEKKA, its staff, or its sponsors.
Would you like to be part of this? We welcome your contribution, writing for TEKKA or gathering news for TEKKAlogue. For TEKKA submissions, our rates vary by length, department, and editorial requirements, but are generally in line with the best Web magazines. TEKKAlogue submissions are entered into a monthly drawing for a prize. Please see our writer guidelines (TEKKA, TEKKAlogue) for more information.
